I remember well the Sears Roebucks and Montgomery Wards Wish Books with several pages of various guns and accessories. I remember that when I was in the 5 grade I was given a writing assignment to write a story. I made up a hunting story about going hunting with a new Savage Bolt Action rifle with good descriptions of the rifle, accessories, ammunition etc. that came directly from the Sears Wish book.
