Seems impossible to conceal a pistol if you wear sports shirt and khakis

I want to buy an M&P Shield for CC but I can not imagine how I can conceal the gun without wearing a jacket or other "outer" garment. I live in the desert and at work I wear a sports (button up) shirt or sometimes a T-shirt tucked into khaki cargo pants. It's too hot for any outer garment. I've looked a many, many holsters for IWB, OWB, ankle, and nothing I can see would prevent the Shield from being very obvious and visible. Without an outer jacket, sweatshirt, windbreaker, or something, how can the Shield be concealed?

It really is hard to CC with light clothing. I struggle with it all summer long.
