Anyone here have a old hunting knife that they still use.
Or one they just hang onto.
I have an old KA-Bar. And I have had it so long, I don't remember
Were or how I got.
But I showed it to a guy that knew alot about knife's, and he told me
It was made around the late 40's, he said something about the way the name was stamped on the sheath with the - in the middle
I guess they stopped doing that way back.

From the late 1960s, I put together this Indian Ridge Traders Knife blade and horn handle. I turned the cap at and made the hilt, The sheath is one I found.

The second is the same but a little smaller and the one I usually carry hunting.

My oldest knife is this R. J. RICHTER SOLINGEN, GERMANY that I have had for many years. Note that it is stamped GERMANY not West Germany. Good steel and bone handle but not pretty.
