Nice! We're finally breaking 32F here. Been in single digits mostly. Did you get any shooting done?

This M1, 22, shoots very good., no game this trip.
This one has the squirrel carved in the stock, quite rare.

Maybe ,later this spring, I will take a couple of my 22's
To the range, and have a shoot off, to see which one does the best,
First I will give each one some range time, to find out what ammo they like best,
I am not going to get to technical, with it.
A guy I use to shoot with, on a winter pistol league, who at the time was a distinguished expert shooter, told me
When he bought a brick of 22's, he dumped all the rounds out of the box, and weighted each round, and put all the rounds in groups, according to weight.
I am not going to do that, I am not that good of a shooter
To worry about .ooo3 grams of weight from one round to the next.

I agree. I can't see being that particular about ammo unless you're doing some serious shooting at sniper distances. 600 yds. for example. Although it doesn't take that much distance to see movement.

I was going to just for fun, shoot some 22's true my
Chronograph, just to see how much a difference there is from round to round.

That's cool. Any reason to shoot is a good enough reason to me. 😁

Very nice. Love those rolling fields. Any luck finding those woodchuck holes? ;)
