ImageLast week, the Idaho Senate gave final approval to shooting range funding legislation, House Bill 286.  The measure now heads to the desk of Governor Brad Little for his signature.  Please contact Governor Little and ask him to sign House Bill 286 into law. Image House Bill 286, sponsored by Representative Caroline Nilsson Troy (R-District 5B), clarifies existing law and directs dedicated funding to public shooting ranges.  This measure will support public shooting ranges by ensuring that money is properly distributed to them as it is collected by the Department of Fish and Game.  HB 286 received unanimous support as it passed the House in March (69-0), and the Senate (34-0).  Again, please contact Governor Little and ask him to sign House Bill 286 into law.
