National Law Enforcement Museum’s upcoming exhibit focuses on changes in the profession since 9/11

lawenforcementmuseum.org The National Law Enforcement Museum’s upcoming exhibition, “Post-9/11: The Evolution of American Law Enforcement,” will mark the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and honor the officers who rose to the challenge that day. The exhibit, set to open August 27, will be the first to focus on the significant changes to U.S. law enforcement — from intelligence collection to interagency partnerships and information sharing and more — that occurred in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. The exhibit will feature artifacts and iconic images from the Pentagon, World Trade Center and Flight 93, and “will offer guests an opportunity to engage again in the story of law enforcement and honor those who serve and have died in the line of duty from the effects of 9/11,” the museum said in the press release.
