Retired Port Authority Police Officer Joe Monteleone wrote this stirring tribute to those men and women in blue who gave their lives during one of the greatest tragedies to ever occur on U.S. soil. The melody and lyrics came to Monteleone shortly after 9/11, as he prayed and meditated to work through his immense pain and grief. He teamed up with pianist and composer Beata Moon to set his lyrical tribute to music and complete the touching song. With the 20th anniversary of the tragedy approaching, Kasia Wistek helped Monteleone create a video to accompany the song in remembrance of all those who we lost on that fateful day.
