Today, February 25, at 1:30 pm, the San Jose City Council will consider their Council Policy Priority Nominations. One of Mayor Sam Liccardo’s priority nominations is of utmost concern to law-abiding gun owners. This nomination punishes law-abiding gun owners for owning a lawful product by forcing them to pay an unknown fee (tax) and/or purchasing insurance to cover the city’s cost related to the criminal misuse of firearms.
