The CMPD recognized the officer’s act of kindness on Facebook. The department said his kind act only came to light because he had to inform dispatch that he was making a stop while driving the children to the temporary home. "Some calls can be heartbreaking but it’s a simple random act of kindness that can change a life,” the department wrote.
