NeverFail Gopher trap gun
NeverFail Gopher Trap Gun, NSNV, .38 blank, brass, and steel construction, marked ''Pat. Oct. 17-22'' ahead of a perforated brass trip plate; brass frame, 6-1/2'' long. Designed for use against gophers and small burrowing animals, this gun is set into a gopher hole and discharges a .38 cal. blank cartridge when tripped by an animal. The condition is very good and fully functional, with a nice overall medium dark patina to brass and toning to iron parts.
Brass frame, 6 1/2 inches long with "THE NEVER-FAIL/PAT. OCT. 17, 22" marked on top, steel barrel, exposed striker and sear.
